What is Inbox Invoices?
Inbox Invoices is a free tool that finds invoices and receipts in your Gmail inbox, lists them in one organized place by vendor, date and amount, and lets you download them all as a ZIP or prepare an email to your accountant. It is built for freelancers and small businesses that receive most of their invoices by email.
How do I quickly find all the invoices in my email?
Manually, you can search Gmail for words like "invoice" and "receipt" together with attachments, e.g. has:attachment (invoice OR receipt). It works, but it takes time and returns many irrelevant emails.
With Inbox Invoices you connect Gmail in one click, choose a period, and the tool detects invoices and receipts, filters duplicates and shows only accounting documents.
Do I need to share my email password?
No. You connect through Google's official permission screen and approve read-only access. Inbox Invoices never sees or stores your password, and you can revoke access at any time from your Google Account settings.
Does Inbox Invoices store my emails or invoices?
No. Scanning, detection and ZIP creation run in your browser. Emails and files are not stored on Inbox Invoices servers or shared with third parties, and nothing stays with us once you close the tab.
Can I download all my invoices as one ZIP file?
Yes. Select documents from the list (or all of them in one click) and download a single ZIP with files named by date and vendor. You can also export a CSV with the details.
How do I send the invoices to my accountant?
After selecting documents, Inbox Invoices prepares an email draft for your accountant with the list of invoices, the period and the totals. Attach the ZIP and send it from your own email.
Does Inbox Invoices work with Outlook?
Inbox Invoices currently supports Gmail and Google Workspace accounts. Outlook and Microsoft 365 support is planned.
How much does it cost?
Inbox Invoices is completely free with no invoice limit. The site is funded by ads, and we never sell or use the contents of your emails for advertising.
Does Inbox Invoices replace an accountant?
No. Inbox Invoices saves the manual work of finding and collecting documents. Tax reporting and accounting decisions stay with your accountant or tax advisor.
